Dr. Tamás Gergely

University of Szeged
Dr. Tamás Gergely (PhD) assistant professor at Department of Software Engineering, University of Szeged. His research areas are program analysis and software testing, he has more than 25 publications and participated in many academic-industrial projects in these fields. Hi has been teaching for more than 15 years, including testing (CTFL, Agile FL, ATM, ATA, ATTA, CPRE FL) for more than 8 years.

How testing is taught in Hungarian universities

There are more and more positions explicitly require professional and educated testers.

Along with this trend, we examined how testing is taught in Hungarian universities.

As we found, although universities recognized the need and provide specific classes (sometimes with explicit industry-expected content), there are rooms for improvement how testing is taught.
