Conformiq 360° Test Automation solves four big gaps in current agile testing processes:
1. Automatically design comprehensive test cases fast enough for in-sprint progression testing.
2. Automatically generate executable scripts and test oracles.
3. Enable continuous test execution during development sprints.
4. Seamlessly link the “islands of automation” of existing heterogeneous testing tools.
Conformiq is the only tool that tightly couples automated test case design with automated execution with automated tool integration enabling true continuous testing for agile projects. Import Gherkin feature files, graphically validate their completeness, link with requirements for test coverage, generate scripts for Selenium execution.
Nordic Testing Days is an annual conference primarily aimed at software testers. However, during the recent years we have branched out and also welcome others ranging from programmers to UX specialists, project managers to designers etc. In other words, everyone who is interested in dipping their toes into testing and contributing to smoother software development cycle and quality. We believe this will help diversify learning across the board.
Nordic Testing Days is a non-profit organization and the conference is put together by volunteers, who are mostly testing professionals, committed to strengthening the community and providing software quality related education.
Nordic Testing Days targets both seasoned and young professionals who are just starting out in the field of IT. The aim is to advance their knowledge of testing and why it is necessary as well as inspire them to commit to delivering excellent software, and why not, even hardware products. We want to create an environment where experience can be shared by telling great success and even failure stories from the field. The conference also serves as a forum offering networking opportunities for employers and potential employees.
Nordic Testing Days wishes to make testers from the Baltics and Northern countries noticed in Europe and draw attention to the skills and know-how available.
Finally, Nordic Testing Days wants to cultivate an appreciation for the profession of software testing in order to keep specialists engaged with testing and tap into their knowledge for the greater good of the profession as well as contribute to the better understanding and collaboration among all the people involved in delivering quality software.

UCAAT 2016 Budapest
26-28 October 2016
Hosted by Ericsson & Nokia, in partnership with HTB.
How can advanced test automation face the challenges of fast product development in the age of the Internet of Things?
Software testing is generally considered as a process of executing test cases, which are designed by using test case design techniques. From a broader perspective, it can be defined as any activity, including static testing techniques, aimed at evaluating an attribute or capability of a program/system and determining if it meets its requirements and intended use.
Migration from manual to automated testing procedures not only provides effective use of human resources but also shortens time-to-market cycle and improves system quality. Agile development approaches such as SCRUM, KANBAN and Continuous Delivery cannot be applied without test automation. Hence, test automation & management become an increasingly critical and strategic necessity.
ETSI’s UCAAT conference, now in it’s fourth year, is dedicated to application aspects of automated testing including model-based testing, cloud testing, mobile testing, test methodologies, test management and standardized test specification by focusing on the practical challenges that are often faced in industry. This conference brings together research and industry from different application domains such as telco, banking, IT services, automotive, robotics, healthcare, defence and software vendors to meet, discuss and share their practical experiences in the field of software testing.
If you would like to be a partner in organizing the conference, please, contact Csilla Kohl (csilla.kohl@hstqb.com).
