Kristóf Szabados

Senior Software developer, Ericsson Hungary Ltd. (HU)

Kristóf Szabados has a decade of experience on building tools for testers. He is one the developers behind the open source TTCN-3 tool Titan.

He is a PhD student with the interest in understanding the properties of large scale test systems. His research publications can be read here: https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Kristof_Szabados

He also leads a cooperative project between Ericsson and ELTE, where student can learn the internals of compilers and take part in ground breaking research work.

Thinking/mindset of testers is the closest to that of developers

According to our survey results, in the IT industry: (1) the thinking/mindset of testers is the closest to that of developers, (2) Internet is one of the most useful source of information, (3) trial and error is perceives to be more efficient then formal training, (4) testing skills are among the most important ones, (5) although most companies support the improvement of internal quality, most respondents have very limited knowledge or are not concerned of anti-patterns.
