Stephan Schulz received his PhD in Computer Engineering on model-based co-design from University of Arizona in 2001, after which he joined the Nokia Research Center in Helsinki to work exclusively on testing. In 2010, he managed to merge his passion for testing and modeling by joining Conformiq, where he is currently the Chief Technology Officer. For many years he has been serving as the chair of ETSI’s Technical Committee Methods for Testing and Specification, and he is leading the review group MBT working group at ISTQB.
About the Presentation
Easing Behavioral Driven Development with Model-Based Testing
Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) is increasingly evaluated and being adopted for development of Enterprise IT systems. It is mainly known for its use in combination with Test Driven Development (TDD). This presentation shows two approaches how Model-Based Testing (MBT) can be used to complement TDD, and ease BDD deployments by allowing testers to contribute more in the process.
