The TIGRA IT Group was founded in 1996, in the vicinity of the two largest IT training universities in Budapest. We have maintained our close ties with the two alma maters and have built up cooperation with 5 other universities in the region.
Tigra Group is one of the major players on the Hungarian ICT market. We work as software developers and IT infrastructure operators for the financial and government sectors. We are able to deliver complex IT solutions independently and open to cooperation according to the needs of the client. We operate systems both remotely and on-site. We can train the employees of the client to be able to operate any given system independently at any stage. Tigra is dedicated to security and our expert team supports both our development and the independent projects of our customers.
TECHNOLOGIES APPLIED
We primarily rely on open-source process-oriented IT solutions utilizing state-of-the-art sectoral patents, however, we also have sound experience in the field of closed source systems, if their use becomes necessary. The core of our activity is nationwide, multiple-user, 24/7 high availability IT systems critically important for state administration.
We build on a flexible, process-oriented data collection system of our own development, with the help of which we can create electronic data collection modules and IT systems operating on significant data catalogs with extreme rapidity.
Our methodologies are custom-made to the project (UML-based object-oriented analysis and planning, Prince2, Scrum), while selecting from a broad spectrum of programming languages (Java, Groovy, Ruby, PL/SQL).
