Biography

Marta Firlej has over 18 years of professional experience in IT, primarily focusing on quality assurance. She has worked across diverse industries such as finance, healthcare, and edutech. With more than a decade of experience as a people leader, Marta has successfully established new teams, identified leaders, and built competencies. She has managed around 1500 Quality Engineers across three competency groups and up to seven development teams simultaneously. As the head of a functional office, she supported over 30% year-to-year company growth and expansion into new markets and industries. Marta’s expertise includes strategy and business development, change management, and process improvement initiatives. Her achievements highlight her ability to lead high-performance engineering teams and deliver successful products and services.
Marta is an active member of the Polish and European testing community, organizing events, sharing knowledge as a speaker, and participating as an attendee.
She is also the inventor and organizer of the testing conference test:fest in Wrocław, Poland.
